The Buffalo County Historical Society is located on the second floor of the Buffalo County Courthouse, 407 South Second Street, in Alma, WI.

From the south and north, the best way to the office is to follow State Highway 35/Main Street to County Road E, turn onto County Road E (up the hill) and at the top of the hill, turn left on Second Street. The Buffalo County Courthouse is a large building on your right with parking along the street and in the parking lot on the north end of the building.
